Flavio Bolsonaro reportedly leaves Brazil, prompting US midterm jokes
Original: I guess the choice was either Argentina or the USA, Clone Boy went over to give Trump some help with the Midterms, lol!
Flavio Bolsonaro, son of Brazil's former president Jair Bolsonaro, has reportedly left Brazil for Argentina, according to a Guardian report. Commentators online joked about his destination choice — Argentina or the United States — with quips that 'Clone Boy' had gone to help Donald Trump with the US midterm elections. The move comes amid legal pressure on the Bolsonaro family in Brazil, drawing attention from both Brazilian and US politics watchers.
Why now: The Bolsonaro family remains at the centre of Brazil's political crisis, and any report of a Bolsonaro fleeing abroad immediately fuels speculation and satire.
