Foldable iPhone Buyers Report Visible Crease on $2,000 Displays
Original: iPhone Duo Users Are Already Seeing a Big Old Crease in the Middle of Their $2,000 Foldable iPhone https://www. 404media
Early buyers of Apple's roughly $2,000 foldable iPhone are reporting a noticeable crease running down the middle of the display. Reports have spread quickly among Apple watchers and smartphone fans, with many comparing the issue to creasing seen on earlier foldable phones from Samsung and other makers. Some owners say the crease is visible during normal use, while others argue it is an expected trade-off of folding-screen technology. The story has been picked up by technology outlets including 404 Media.
Why now: The foldable iPhone is a brand-new, high-priced product, so early reports of a display flaw are drawing wide attention and debate.
