Spain squad named for Czech Republic without Cubarsí and Espí

Original: spain fc

Spain have announced their squad for the upcoming match against the Czech Republic, with head coach Luis de la Fuente leaving out Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsí and goalkeeper Unai Espí. The omissions are drawing attention ahead of the fixture, while elsewhere several players, including Trinity Rodman and Lilly Reale, received call-ups to the US women's national team.

Why now: Fans are reacting to Spain's squad announcement and the surprise exclusion of two young players.
