Spanish musician Rafa Balmaseda says he is proud of «El Acto», the first full-length album of his life, recalling that he started out at fourteen playing at village festivals and rock and roll before his path led him to Madrid. He also praises Eduardo Benavente, a key figure of the Spanish early eighties scene, as fantastic. The remarks have struck a chord with fans of that era of Spanish pop and post-punk.
Why now: Nostalgia for the early eighties Madrid scene and appreciation of its musicians keeps these memories circulating among fans.
