Fantasy author's creature lore prompts writer discussion
Original: # PennedPossibilities 1168: Does your world have any mythology creatures? Can you describe their lore to us? In my sapph
A fantasy author running the PennedPossibilities writing prompt asks whether other writers' fictional worlds include mythological creatures. She shares that her own sapphic dark fantasy, releasing the next day, features dragons, a nature sprite, a dark elf, a weretiger and an owl shifter, with extensive lore built around each. Writers are responding with descriptions of the creatures in their own works.
Why now: The long-running daily writing prompt invites authors to discuss worldbuilding, and coincides with the author's book release tomorrow.
