Israeli forces detonate homes of two Palestinian detainees
Original: Breaking | Israeli occupation forces detonate the homes of Palestinian detainees Ibrahim Abdul Karim Dawoud and Zakaria
Israeli forces detonated the homes of Palestinian detainees Ibrahim Abdul Karim Dawoud and Zakaria Mohammad Dawoud in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, after forcing their families to leave. The demolitions are part of Israel's long-standing punitive demolition policy targeting homes of Palestinians accused of attacks, a practice widely condemned by Palestinians and human rights groups as collective punishment.
Why now: Ongoing tensions in the occupied West Bank keep punitive home demolitions in the spotlight
