A petition is pressing the UK Government to launch a public inquiry into any British involvement in Israeli operations in Gaza. It specifically calls for scrutiny of the sale, supply or use of British weapons and surveillance equipment, and any other forms of UK participation. Supporters are sharing the petition widely, arguing Parliament and the public deserve a full accounting of Britain's role in the conflict.
Why now: Ongoing concern over UK arms exports and complicity in the Gaza war has driven people to promote the petition.
