Kennedy claims Arabs 'don't produce science,' Nobel record contradicts him

Original: Kennedy says Arabs ‘don’t produce science,’ but Nobel record says otherwise

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has drawn criticism after saying that Arabs 'don't produce science,' a claim widely rebutted by the record of Nobel prizes awarded to scientists from the Arab world. Observers point to laureates such as Ahmed Zewail in chemistry and numerous other Arab researchers in medicine, physics and literature as evidence contradicting the statement.

Why now: The remarks are being reported as a false and controversial generalisation about Arab scientific achievement.
