DoorDash and Macy’s Partner to Bring Store Orders to Doorsteps
Original: From the Store Shelf to Your Doorstep: DoorDash and Macy’s Collaborate
DoorDash and Macy’s have announced a collaboration allowing customers to order from the department store chain and have items delivered to their homes. The partnership extends Macy’s retail reach into same-day delivery, while DoorDash broadens its marketplace beyond food and convenience goods, joining a wider retail trend of department stores partnering with delivery platforms.
Why now: The new partnership is notable because it signals department stores deepening ties with delivery apps to compete in e-commerce.
