Runner takes on hilly 5k in Bristol
Original: Dropped the distance back down to 5k, but added in elevation (70m/230ft) because this is Bristol after all. Bonus jarrin
A Bristol runner cut their route back to 5k but kept 70 metres (230ft) of elevation, calling the city's hills unavoidable. They described jarring impacts going downhill, but counted a friendly encounter with a German Shepherd among the perks, and said they would be back on the bike the following day.
Why now: People in running communities regularly share training updates and swap notes on routes, injuries and hilly terrain.
