DOJ to Send Election Monitors to Six Georgia Counties

Original: Trump's DOJ will send election monitors to six left-leaning Georgia counties: • Bibb • Chatham • Cobb • Dekalb • Fulton

The Justice Department under President Trump will deploy federal election monitors to six Democratic-leaning Georgia counties: Bibb, Chatham, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett. The move, reported by Georgia Recorder ahead of the midterms, is drawing scrutiny because all six counties lean left, fueling concerns about federal overreach and voter intimidation in a key swing state.

Why now: Federal election monitors being sent only to Democratic-leaning counties in a swing state shortly before midterms raises concerns about political motivation.
