Original: In HEX (Norway, 2026) we follow the feminist black metal band Witch Club Satan from inception as a feminist performance

A new Norwegian documentary titled HEX, set for 2026, follows the black metal band Witch Club Satan from its beginnings as a feminist performance art project to its current status as a touring black metal act. The film explores the band's struggles and the ideas behind the project, drawing attention for combining feminist politics with Norway's notoriously masculine black metal scene.

Why now: The film's unusual subject — feminist black metal — and its glimpse into the band's journey are sparking curiosity ahead of its 2026 release.
