Just put some HTML on the web
A developer has published a short essay arguing for building websites with plain HTML rather than heavy frameworks or JavaScript. The piece, titled 'Just put some HTML on the web', is gaining attention among programmers who agree that simpler, lightweight pages are faster, more durable and easier to maintain. The sentiment taps into ongoing debate about web bloat and over-engineering, with many readers echoing that hand-rolled HTML remains good enough for most sites.
Why now: It resonates with ongoing developer debate about web complexity and the appeal of going back to simple, static HTML.
