Storm Shadow Missiles Hit Russian Battery Factory
Original: Russian Battery Factory Destroyed by 7 Storm Shadow Cruise Missiles
Seven British-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles are reported to have destroyed a Russian battery factory, according to commentary circulating amid the ongoing war in Ukraine. The strike would represent another deep-strike hit on Russian industrial infrastructure supporting Moscow's war effort, a tactic Ukraine has increasingly employed with Western-supplied long-range weapons. No independent confirmation of the strike's date, location or damage is included in the reports driving discussion.
Why now: Ukraine's use of Western-supplied long-range missiles to strike targets deep inside Russia remains a highly watched and contested development in the war.
