Timberwolves expect Anthony Edwards fully recovered after knee surgery
Original: The Minnesota Timberwolves believe Anthony Edwards will be “good as new” following arthroscopic surgery for a lingering
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has undergone arthroscopic surgery to address a lingering injury in his right knee. The team says it expects him to be 'good as new' following the procedure. The operation resolves an issue that had been bothering the shooting guard, and the Timberwolves appear confident he will be ready without lasting effects as the franchise continues to build around its All-Star.
Why now: Edwards is the Timberwolves' franchise player, so any surgery on him raises immediate concern about his availability and the team's prospects.
