Việt Tân accuses regime of exploiting and discarding its people
Original: A regime that uses people and discards them like squeezed lemons... and this has been going on si...
The opposition group Việt Tân is circulating a sharply worded message accusing Vietnam's government of using its citizens and then casting them aside, comparing the practice to squeezing a lemon and throwing away the rind. The group says the pattern has gone on for a long time, framing it as an indictment of the ruling system rather than a single incident.
Why now: The message is drawing attention as part of ongoing criticism of Vietnam's government over alleged abuse of ordinary citizens.
