User asks for help fixing old drum synthesizer software
Original: I don't usually ask this but does someone think that they can please fix this synthesizer for me? It's an old synthesize
A musician has publicly appealed for help repairing an old synthesizer program from the 2000s that can no longer save patches or wav files to samples. The request, shared with a link to the DrumSynth project hosted on SourceForge, has drawn a small wave of engagement as people discuss whether vintage free audio tools can still be maintained or revived.
Why now: Vintage music software often breaks on modern systems, and communities enjoy rallying to repair or maintain nostalgic tools.
Evidence
- I don't usually ask this but does someone think that they can please fix this synthesizer for me? It's an old synthesizer from the 2000s, but it can't look to save patches or wav files to samples.
