Nova Launcher users angry over switch to subscription model
Original: WARNING! Android users of Nova Launcher, DO NOT upgrade to the latest version! They have switched over to a subscription
Nova Launcher, a popular Android home screen replacement, has moved to a subscription model in its latest update, and longtime users are pushing back. Customers who previously paid for Nova Prime say their one-time purchase is no longer honoured and that no free version remains. Warning posts urging people not to upgrade are circulating widely among Android users.
Why now: Loyal paying customers feel a subscription switch without notice devalues their earlier purchases.
