Freddie Freeman contract extension talks with Dodgers reported
Original: フレディ・フリーマン
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is reportedly set to open talks on a contract extension with the club this offseason. The 37-year-old slugger hopes to keep playing until age 40. The news comes as attention turns to the Dodgers' aging roster after their World Series loss, with commentators calling for a plan to address the team's veteran-heavy lineup next season.
Why now: The Dodgers' World Series exit has put offseason plans, including Freeman's future, in focus.
