End of Eternity gets 4K and 120fps upgrade DLC
Original: エンドオブエタニティ
Square Enix's RPG End of Eternity, released about eight years ago in its remastered form, has received a new DLC adding native 4K output, HDR support and 120fps performance. Japanese gaming media report the update gives the older title modern console visual standards, and players are discussing whether the free-style upgrade signals renewed support for the franchise.
Why now: The surprise technical upgrade for an eight-year-old RPG is prompting speculation about renewed interest in the series.
