CopilotKit launches OpenBot, open-source AI coworkers
Original: CopilotKit/OpenBot
CopilotKit has released OpenBot, an open-source project that gives AI agents their own computer environment, complete with a browser, files and tools. Every action is decided before execution and logged afterwards, and the system works with any AG-UI compatible agent. Developers in the open-source community are picking it up quickly, making it one of the most-discussed new repositories this week.
Why now: Interest in autonomous AI agents that can safely operate computers is surging, and an open-source, auditable framework lowers the barrier for developers.
