NASA's CNEOS fireball tracker draws fresh attention
Original: THE GREAT GIG IN THE SKY 44/2026 # CNEOS # NASA # Fireballs # Fireball # Bolide # Meteor
Posts referencing NASA's Center for Near Earth Object Studies and its fireball catalog are circulating, tagged under 'The Great Gig in the Sky 44/2026'. The tags point to meteors, bolides and fireballs — bright meteors that explode in the atmosphere — which CNEOS tracks and publishes data on. The reference to the Pink Floyd song suggests a poetic framing of celestial events rather than a specific new sighting.
