Original: Kimi Antonelli reveals plans to launch his own racing academy outside F1
Mercedes Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli has revealed plans to launch his own racing academy outside of F1. The Italian teenager, who stepped up to the top tier of motorsport in 2025, wants to create a programme that supports and develops young drivers on their path to professional racing. The announcement has drawn attention from motorsport fans and media discussing his commitment to nurturing future talent.
Why now: The announcement is newsworthy because a young F1 driver is investing in the next generation of racers rather than focusing solely on his own career.
