Astronauts Begin Spacewalk to Install Roll-Out Solar Arrays

Astronauts have started a spacewalk to install roll-out solar arrays, continuing work to upgrade the power system in orbit. The new arrays are designed to unroll like a carpet and boost electricity supply for station operations. Coverage from NASA and news outlets is drawing attention as the installation proceeds outside the station.

Why now: A live, ongoing spacewalk to upgrade the station's power system is naturally newsworthy space exploration news.
