Posts question whether Gaza ceasefire is holding
Original: RE: https:// mastodon.world/@gaza_hope/1173 56639729198600 israel calls this a ceasefire. # palestine # gaza # ceasefire
Social media users are sharply disputing Israel's characterization of the situation in Gaza as a ceasefire. A widely shared post states plainly: 'israel calls this a ceasefire,' suggesting conditions on the ground do not match that description. The post carries hashtags about Palestine, Gaza and the ceasefire, and commenters are echoing the sentiment, arguing the truce is not being respected.
Why now: Skepticism and anger over the state of the Gaza ceasefire are driving people to share and amplify challenges to official descriptions of it.
