Keith Morris, frontman of Circle Jerks and formerly of Black Flag, says he attended the Sound and Fury hardcore festival to see deathgrind band Peeling Flesh perform. The comment, reported by Lambgoat, is drawing attention as a notable veteran punk figure showing support for a newer, extreme act on the festival bill.
Why now: A well-known punk veteran publicly endorsing a newer deathgrind band at a major hardcore festival is an unexpected, shareable crossover moment
