Tool auto-dismisses macOS local network permission prompts
Original: Show HN: Auto Dismiss Mac OS "Allow <app> to find devices on local networks?"
A developer has released an open-source utility that automatically dismisses the macOS prompt asking whether an app can find devices on local networks. The tool targets the recurring permission dialog that interrupts users whenever newly installed or updated apps request local network access. Discussion has centered on how annoying the repeated prompts are and whether automatically rejecting them might break apps that genuinely need local network access.
Why now: Mac users find the frequent local network permission prompts intrusive and want a way to suppress them
