Eight new hymns added to Mormon 'Hymns for Home and Church' collection
Original: Eight more hymns added to ‘Hymns for Home and Church,’ including Christmas songs
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has added eight more hymns to its 'Hymns for Home and Church' collection, with the latest batch including Christmas songs. The expansion continues the church's ongoing rollout of new and revised hymns for congregational singing and family worship, and church members are discussing the new additions and the arrival of seasonal music.
Why now: The church's ongoing hymn revision project is closely followed by its members, and the inclusion of Christmas songs gives the new batch seasonal appeal.
