Original: RE: https:// norden.social/@Cykelsok/117525 466142097798 Beim # Jollaphone2026 @ jolla als 🇪🇺 europäisches alternatives
Supporters are highlighting the Jolla Phone 2026, praising the Finnish company's Linux-based Sailfish OS as a genuine European alternative to dominant American mobile platforms. Early users report the device runs smoothly enough to serve as a daily driver, and that more units have reached the market than initially expected. The discussion frames it as part of a broader push for digital sovereignty in Europe.
Why now: Interest in European tech sovereignty is driving attention to Jolla's new phone as an alternative to US operating systems.
