Original: 鈴木 彩 艶

Japanese goalkeeper Suzuki Zion's stand-in drew harsh criticism from British media after a costly error in the Carabao Cup, with one outlet calling it an 'embarrassing mistake'. The mistake came as Aston Villa conceded three goals and were knocked out of the competition, putting the spotlight back on Suzuki's absence and the quality of the cover in goal.

Why now: The high-profile Cup exit and the goalkeeper's blunder made his performance instant talking material in both English and Japanese football media.
