Germany prepares updated Covid-19 vaccination programme for autumn

Original: covid-19-impfstoff

German health authorities and pharmaceutical media are discussing an updated autumn vaccination programme covering Covid-19, influenza and RSV. The plan, described as 'Impfprogramm 2.0', focuses on which groups should receive booster shots alongside seasonal flu and respiratory syncytial virus immunisation as the colder season approaches. It signals a shift toward combining vaccines in a single seasonal campaign for vulnerable groups.

Why now: Autumn respiratory illness season is approaching, prompting renewed discussion of combined Covid-19, flu and RSV vaccination recommendations in Germany.
