Modi's mockery of Rahul Gandhi over MLC results backfires
Original: When Modi tried to mock Rahul Gandhi and Congress over MLC results, he ended up becoming the joke...
Narendra Modi attempted to ridicule Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party over the results of MLC (MLC) elections, but critics say the jibe backfired and turned the Prime Minister into the punchline instead. Opposition supporters are amplifying the moment, arguing the results actually favoured Congress and left Modi's attack looking misplaced.
Why now: Election results appear to have contradicted Modi's attack, making the exchange a trending political talking point.
