Motoki's son shines in high school baseball debut

Original: 元木大介

Eisuke Motoki, a first-year student at a Yokohama high school and son of former Yomiuri Giants star Daisuke Motoki, hit a double in a high school baseball game. His father's blunt pre-game message — 'make sure you swing the bat properly' — paid off, drawing attention to the next generation of the baseball family.

Why now: The son of a well-known former pro baseball player is making his own name in the prominently covered summer high school baseball season.
