Gulls jokingly dubbed Wimbledon's newest ball kids
Original: Wimbledon has just recruited new ball kids. Yellow legged Gulls / Mittelmeermöwe (Biblis) #birds #gulls #tennis #vögel #
A wildlife photograph showing yellow-legged gulls has been shared with a joke that Wimbledon has recruited them as its new ball kids. The lighthearted caption pairs bird photography from Biblis with tennis, tagging both gulls and the tournament, and the quip is drawing small but amused engagement among bird and tennis fans alike.
Why now: The playful juxtaposition of gulls standing on grass like ball kids is an amusing shareable image.
