A refugee baseball5 team is preparing to take part in the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Senegal, with their story of hope through sport being highlighted ahead of the event. The team's journey offers rare visibility for displaced athletes in the new Olympic discipline of baseball5, a fast five-a-side version of baseball played without bats or gloves, and organizers hope it will inspire young refugees worldwide.
