Autumn forest photo prompt draws nature photographers online

Photographers are sharing pictures of autumn woods under a photo prompt called "The Forest in Autumn." One contributor posted an image taken during a forest walk near their home two weeks ago, noting the trees had not yet turned properly colourful and that the weather was still far too warm. Participants are using the moment to swap impressions of an unusually mild start to the season and their experiences of walking and bathing in the woods.

Why now: The seasonal photo prompt is prompting people to share autumn woodland pictures and comment on the late colour change this year.

• Passend zum #FotoVorschlag "Der Wald im Herbst" Das Foto entstand bei unserem Waldspaziergang vor zwei Wochen in meiner Heimat. So richtig bunt war der Wald noch nicht. Es war auch noch viel zu warm. #herbst #wald #Waldspaziergang #waldbaden #natur #nature #forest #inthewoods… · Nerdherz@pixelfed.de · 4
