Aaron Rodgers floats international week proposal

Original: aaron rodgers international week proposal

Aaron Rodgers has floated a proposal for an NFL international week, reviving discussion about expanding the league's overseas footprint. The idea echoes a 16-game international week concept raised during 2020 collective bargaining talks, which never materialized. Commentators note the proposal faces significant logistical and scheduling hurdles, but it reflects growing league interest in playing more regular-season games abroad as the NFL continues its international expansion efforts.

Why now: Aaron Rodgers' suggestion of an international week touches on the NFL's ongoing push to expand globally.
