New tool auto-dismisses macOS local network permission popups

A developer has released a small utility that automatically dismisses the recurring macOS prompt asking to allow apps to find devices on local networks. The tool exists because Apple offers no global setting to disable the prompt, which interrupts users who almost never grant the permission. Early reactions online are sympathetic, with many saying the popup has been a long-standing annoyance of macOS privacy controls.

Why now: Users widely find the frequently appearing macOS local network permission prompt annoying and there is no built-in way to disable it.
