US and Ukraine agree Britain, France, Germany to represent Europe in peace talks
Original: США и Украина согласовали, что Европу на переговорах о завершении войны будут представлять Великобритания, Франция и Гер
The United States and Ukraine have agreed that Europe will be represented at negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine by the so-called E3 format — Britain, France and Germany. Financial Times reported the arrangement, citing four European diplomats. The decision addresses European demands for a seat at the table in talks that have so far been driven largely by Washington, Kyiv and Moscow, and is likely to shape how the continent's security interests are voiced in any settlement.
Why now: Fresh reporting on who will speak for Europe in high-stakes Ukraine peace negotiations is drawing immediate attention.
