33 countries now advise citizens to stockpile emergency supplies
Original: 33 COUNTRIES ARE TELLING THEIR CITIZENS TO STOCKPILE FOR EMERGENCY. HERE IS THE FULL LIST EUROPE (17): AUSTRIA: 10–14 DA
A widely shared list claims 33 countries are officially telling citizens to keep emergency stockpiles at home. It says 17 European nations are involved, including Austria recommending 10-14 days of supplies, Germany up to 10 days, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Estonia one week, and the UK and France around three days. Many European governments have updated civil defence guidance in recent years, urging households to prepare for war, cyberattacks or infrastructure failures.
Why now: Rising geopolitical tensions and government civil-defence campaigns have made national preparedness advice a hot topic.
