Gaza fundraiser message of resilience circulates online

Original: I am a sun to myself, a sun to those around me, and a sun to everyone I love perhaps even the most beautiful and radiant

A message from a young woman in Gaza describing herself as "a sun to myself, a sun to those around me, and a sun to everyone I love" is being shared alongside an urgent appeal for financial assistance. The post links to a crowdfunding campaign collecting donations for her, and combines poetic self-affirmation with the harsh daily reality of life in Gaza.

Why now: People are sharing her fundraising appeal to help a Gaza resident amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
