London's Metropolitan Police are threatening to arrest people who support protesters at a Palestine Action demonstration, including those doing as little as bringing water to demonstrators. Critics say the warning shows police going to extreme lengths to suppress protest, mocking the force as 'heroically' protecting the public while criminalising basic acts of solidarity.
Why now: People are reacting to the police warning that even small acts of support, like supplying water, could lead to arrest at the Palestine Action demo.
