Hundreds from occupied Oleshky leave Belarus for Ukraine
Original: Hundreds from Russian-occupied Oleshky land in Belarus en route to Ukraine
Hundreds of residents from Oleshky, a Ukrainian city in Kherson region under Russian occupation since 2022, have traveled to Belarus and are now en route back to Ukraine. The movement covers a route rarely open to people from occupied territories, and attention is focused on who these people are and how they managed to leave occupied areas via Belarus.
Why now: People are closely following developments in Russia's war against Ukraine and rare movement of people out of occupied territories.
