FSB confirms US warning behind fresh Moscow terror alert
Original: Fresh Moscow Terror Alert: FSB Acknowledges US Warning After Embassy Issues Security Advisory
Russia's FSB has acknowledged receiving a warning from the United States about a potential terrorist attack in Moscow, after the US Embassy issued a security advisory urging Americans to avoid large gatherings in the Russian capital. The alert follows the March 2024 Crocus City Hall attack, and Russian authorities say they are taking measures in response to the tip-off.
Why now: The US Embassy's unusual public security advisory and the FSB's confirmation have raised fresh fears of a possible attack in Moscow.
