NASA's Swift telescope satellite set to crash to Earth Friday

Original: United Statesian 🇺🇸 satellite Swift should crash somewhere on the planet Friday https:// toronto.citynews.ca/2026/10/31

NASA's Swift space telescope is expected to fall back to Earth on Friday, crashing somewhere on the planet after a failed rescue mission left it unable to stay in orbit. The observatory, launched to study gamma-ray bursts, is now on a decaying trajectory, and its exact re-entry point is not known, prompting attention to where debris may land.

Why now: A large NASA satellite is predicted to re-enter Earth's atmosphere imminently, with the crash location still unknown.
