Trump Says US Will Rename AI 'Super Intelligence'
Original: "Much Bigger...": Trump Announces US To Rename AI To 'Super Intelligence'
US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will refer to artificial intelligence as 'super intelligence', describing the technology as 'much bigger' than commonly framed, according to NDTV. The announcement has drawn attention for its unusual framing of an established scientific term, with observers debating whether it signals a policy shift or is largely rhetorical.
Why now: A sitting president proposing to rename one of the most discussed technologies of the moment is inherently newsworthy and controversial.
