Bayern turn to Jonas Urbig with Neuer injured
Original: jonas urbig
Bayern Munich goalkeeper Jonas Urbig is in the spotlight after captain Manuel Neuer was ruled out of the Bundesliga match at Freiburg through injury. Former Germany international Didi Hamann has publicly called for Urbig to remain the number one until the winter break, while Aleksandar Pavlovic is also sidelined, forcing coach Vincent Kompany to reshuffle his side again.
Why now: Neuer's injury has made his young backup the centre of debate about who should keep goal for Bayern.
