Original: With 'Largest Coordinated Port Action Ever,' Dockworkers in 22 Countries Strike Against Gaza Genocide | Common Dreams
Dockworkers across 22 countries have launched what organisers call the largest coordinated port action ever, striking to block arms shipments and trade linked to the war in Gaza. Organisers say the action shows port workers' power to halt the movement of goods and war matériel, with one worker declaring that without their hands, containers stay still and the war machines are blocked.
Why now: The unprecedented scale of coordinated labour action across 22 countries in protest at the Gaza war is drawing global attention.
