Brad Pitt in the spotlight as daughter Vivienne drops his surname

Original: brad pitt

Brad Pitt is drawing attention on two fronts. Angelina Jolie and Pitt's daughter Vivienne has become the fourth of their children to officially drop 'Pitt' from her last name, a move widely read as deepening the estrangement between Pitt and his children. Separately, the R-rated action thriller starring Pitt and Jon Bernthal has landed an official Netflix release date.

Why now: Fresh family news about Jolie and Pitt's children plus a new film release announcement are driving renewed interest in the actor.
