A German-language film fan reports a disappointing experience with the animated movie "Blades of the Guardians", saying they had looked forward to it after the trailer but found the film flat and unexciting, with even the fight scenes failing to impress. The same viewer pairs it with a rewatch of Roman Polanski classics including "Rosemary's Baby".

Why now: Because animated adaptations of popular manhua often draw high expectations, and viewers are reacting when a film falls short of its promising trailer.
